the Australian newspaper of all newspapers ?

Wouldn't have anything to do their recent reporting on the Collins subs would it Chris ?? :finga:

The news links are purely about "Events X, Y, and Z occurred". Each item is short and to the point, with no room for bias, motive, or other paranoid interpretation.

The Australian was chosen because at present it's the only newspaper with online RSS feed dedicated to Australian Defence issues. If you can find a better or more relevant one, let me know.

I see there is this link down the bottom of the board index that says "delete all board cookies". I figured this gets rid of all the unread posts so that it's all clean to view again but it just signs me out.

Is there a way you can delete all the new post alerts so that the boards aren't green, it'd just be handy to do that since then I can come on here and see what's been recently updated without having to worry about the posts that were made 2 months ago.

Or maybe I should just harden up and get over it [:D

If you look just above the border around admin notices, on the right hand side of screen there is a "mark forums read" button. That will do the trick

If you can't find it, just hit ctrl f and type in "mark f"

Brotherhood never was like it;
Friendship is not the word;
But deep in that body of marching men
The soul of a nation stirred.

AusMilitary.com is Australia's leading military discussion forum. Originally formed back in 2004 as AusSpecialForces.com as a forum for, by, and about the Australian Special Forces, the forum has since widened it's scope to include all members and branches of the ADF as well as our honoured guests and allies from overseas. Despite some sections being open to the public, the forum still enjoys the membership and advice of respected members of the Special Forces and Special Operations Forces both local and international, as well as those from elite specialities in the conventional forces. From recruit training right up to SF selection tips - if it's frank and honest advice you're after, you'll find it here.
