Update 3 Feb 2017

Thanks to all who requested some of Crunchy's books. I know he'd be glad they are with men who understand a meaning beyond words and paper.

On behalf of Crunchy, I bid you gentlemen his compliments.

Kind Regards

Son of crunchy.

How is the old bugger?
I've been worried since FSB packed up.

I'll let the younger members have access to the collection.

G'day, This is Brett from Adelaide and I tried to PM you but I am unsure if that went off successfully. I'd love to give Crunchy's books a good home and am trying to get a contact in Sydney to see about collecting them. Please PM me. Thanks

Hi Everyone, thanks for the responses and for the interest in Crunchy's life. I had to take a few days downtime but now it's time to sort this.

My preference is for these books to go to serving/ex, but failing which, a good home is all that counts.

1. Cost - none
2. Postage - you're welcome to contribute, but Crunchy will pay for shipping if you're services or ex.
3. I don't mind breaking them up by photogroups as above if people don't want them all.
4. If you want to honor his service, make a donation to a Veterans related entity in his name, or just reach out and be involved in a veterans life.

About Crunchy:
Private, C Company, 4RAR,Vietnam, 68-89.

He was a passionate advocate for current serving members and was never shy of a phone call to a minister or stirring trouble in the press on their behalf.

Dad now resides in care, his duty done and his rest well earned.

I'll leave this up for a few more days and then respond to the folks who have Pm'd me.

Starting to send Crunchys books out on monday 23 jan.

ISH is getting the books in Photo 2, cos theyre relevant to his service
Contribute 12 is up for whatever and
22F is willing to take some.

As per prev post, postage paid for serving/ex.

If anyone else wants to put their hand up now's the time, otherwise them what's listed gets what's there sort of. I will try to share them around a little if that's cool.

Regards

Michael.

Hey mate, thank you for doing this. I've had my eye out for a couple of those books for a while now.

AusMilitary.com is Australia's leading military discussion forum. Originally formed back in 2004 as AusSpecialForces.com as a forum for, by, and about the Australian Special Forces, the forum has since widened it's scope to include all members and branches of the ADF as well as our honoured guests and allies from overseas. Despite some sections being open to the public, the forum still enjoys the membership and advice of respected members of the Special Forces and Special Operations Forces both local and international, as well as those from elite specialities in the conventional forces. From recruit training right up to SF selection tips - if it's frank and honest advice you're after, you'll find it here.
