Hey there,

My name is Eliza Gorka. I am a Casting Director at McGregor Casting. We work on all kinds of projects; Television Commercials, Feature Films and TV Shows. I am currently casting for a new program for the ABC. I am on the hunt for a host/leader for a Survival Training show. The show is kind of a cross between Survivor and Man vs Wild ...

Naturally military and ex military service men is a great place to start my search. Ideally he will have some form of elite training and be capable in a range of areas of expertise.

I was wondering if it would be possible to add some sort of thread to one of your forums to let you users know about this great opportunity. If you are interested, let me know and I can send through the information on how to register expressions of interest.

Many Thanks,

Eliza

They're looking for Keith Fennell I'd have thought.

General note re this kind of topic:
Probably not-cool to be nominating individuals to a media organisation without consulting them first and getting their clearance to do so.

There's got to be a heap of blokes who have the requisite skillsets, present nicely on the telly as well as look and sound the part.

Hell, if that bloke "The Commando" can be a trainer on The Biggest Fat B@stard or whatever the stupid bloody show is, then there's hope for a whole swag of us AJ's.

Damn, and I thought being a hard woman would put me in the running for 'first recruit to leave the show crying because she broke a nail'.
Ripped off.

Hey, I know I'm putting on weight since I've been sick, but I'm not THAT much of a fat b@stard! "pffff"

Although to be called only "mildly deviant" suggests I need to share some more of my tales.

I'd love to see some hard lass pull that one Carbine. Then beat the daylights out of the first bloke who looks at her wrong.

AusMilitary.com is Australia's leading military discussion forum. Originally formed back in 2004 as AusSpecialForces.com as a forum for, by, and about the Australian Special Forces, the forum has since widened it's scope to include all members and branches of the ADF as well as our honoured guests and allies from overseas. Despite some sections being open to the public, the forum still enjoys the membership and advice of respected members of the Special Forces and Special Operations Forces both local and international, as well as those from elite specialities in the conventional forces. From recruit training right up to SF selection tips - if it's frank and honest advice you're after, you'll find it here.
